You can use a 2.5 drive, it just needs an adaptor. I keep one all the time. Uses less power. However, they spin slower, and despite the fact they are smaller physics does not win here. They have smaller mem caches which creates a bottleneck for performance. People will not suffer performance lags for helping preserve our fragile environment.
